Come Back Home is English singer-songwriter Si Clancy’s sweeping new duet with German songstress Nadine Haberl.

The track, recorded on different sides of the continent during the pandemic, melds Clancy’s tender, gritty vocals with the clarity
of pure Bavarian water in the form of Haberl’s natural, exquisite style, recently heard on her own solo releases Spirit and One. This brand new Clancy / Haberl partnership conjures a mesmeric, soaring melodrama, dripping in soulful harmonies and driven by minimal, lush instrumentation.

Come Back Home is “a tipping point” says Clancy. “It’s a desperate plea to your estranged ex-lover when you realise that everything you are or were supposed to be; your egoic sense of self is exposed outside of the relationship breaking down. You’re trying to recall who you were before; to re-discover a strand of your identity in a world you no longer recognise.”

On releasing the song during the pandemic:
“It seems the perfect time to be releasing a track that deals with internal turmoil when a lot of people across the world are still under lock- down restrictions. We’ve had longer to examine ourselves and our decisions, for better or worse.”

On working with Nadine Haberl:
“Having Nadine on this record is transformative. She has managed to inject her own natural style into the song and brought a deeper meaning to my songwriting. Working back and forth on this project from different sides of the continent has been a challenge, but one we have both found immensely rewarding.”
